We stayed here last night at a AAA rate of $72. It is a newer hotel by the convention center. Not within walking distance to restaurants. The next exit south had lots of hotels and restaurants, so we drove down there to Outback. They do not allow pets.

The room is large and the bathroom too. Nice flat screen TV with lots of channels and HBO. There are two A/C controls, so don't use the one on the wall....it's all controlled on the one by the window. We heard some highway noise, but not enough to keep us awake.

The breakfast buffet is where the average rating comes in. Lots of white flour and sugary items. We've stayed at Sleep Inns before and knew this about their selection. My husband did enjoy the coffee very much...nothing fancy, just good old fashioned Maxwell House.

The free wi-fi worked well and they have a business center. A fitness room too, but we didn't use it.

A good, clean hotel. We'd stay here again.

This hotel is pretty new and has nice rooms with big flat screen TVs and pleasant showers. There is a quiet atmosphere, and the staff is very nice and professional . The hotel is reliably clean, modern & in good condition. Free breakfast is very basic processed foods, but they're free. We've found that this hotel has met our expectations consistently in a few stays, and represents value for money compared to other Hattiesburg hotels.

I had business in Hattiesburg on a Saturday, where apparently finding a room on weekends can be tricky depending on what is going on at USM and Camp Shelby. Most everything in town - at least above one star - was full. I did get in this hotel because there was a cancellation, so I'm not complaining about having to book a two-bed smoking room. This hotel apparently opened just last year and other reviews were favorable. Unfortunately I had to change rooms three times for all the usual "horror story" reasons -obvious that nightstands had not been cleaned, food crumbs on the floor, disturbing looking stains on bedspreads - in fairness, bed linens and bathrooms were OK, but even the third room I was offered had issues as far as what I found in the nightstand drawer the next morning. Just a shame... it's a great facility with a very nice flat-screen TV in each room, but I offer in a constructive spirit that they need to keep the place cleaner or it will decline rapidly. I will say that the manager was very apologetic, courteous, and I was offered a price adjustment. If they shape up their housekeeping, I could recommend it. If not... I suggest looking elsewhere. Location is right off I-59 and on US 49, just off freeway and next to two gas stations, which can be a bit loud even in the middle of the night if your room faces U. S. 49 which doubles as a major street through Hattiesburg.

Stayed here to visit BF returning to Camp Shelby from deployment. I had read reviews and was a little worried about staying here, but went for it anyway. The hotel is not as bad as other reviews have stated. The room's decor has been updated and is really contemporary. Bathroom is a nice size as well, LCD TV, iron and ironing board, 2 full length mirrors.Hotel was very clean and didn't smell. Some of the downsides were the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors and occassionally smell cigarette smoke. Overall i truly enjoyed my stay here and would without a doubt stay here again if ever in the area. Was very much worth the rate i paid!!!
