ceiling looked as if it had smoke/mold damage painted over; showerhead shot water out the backside causing mold to grow there; no fitted sheets and were told there none on property; requested a different room and was told there were none available; smoke detector did not work; room smelled musky; breakfast was to be available until 9am, at 8:30am there was nothing available,,don't know if there ever was!

I made reservations at this hotel a day prior to arrival. Within a matter of a few hours, I had to cancel my reservations. Instead of the usual $25 cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours, they charged my credit card for the entire night's stay. I protested that I was not informed of this policy ( and I definitely was NOT or I would not have made reservations there), but it was my word against their's... Understand that this was 22 1/2 hours prior to check in--I had missed the deadline by 90 minutes. The front desk clerk was as rude and insulting as anyone I have ever encountered in the business world. I will sleep on the street before staying here.

Comfort Inn, Gulfport was a very nice place to stay.
Very clean, Lobby and breakfast room was large, clean
and tastefully decorated. Staff was also so nice and
very helpful. We are planning another trip there and
will stay at Comfort Inn again.
