After reading reviews for many places by Memphis, we were pleasantly surprised to find a place for about $50/night that didn't have bedbugs, crime, dirty everything. This hotel is very basic but the room was clean and the staff is very nice. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. Very basic breakfast (dry cereal, doughnuts) but clean area. Room was large and area seemed safe. Very easy to find, right off highway. Good place to stay if passing through MS.

Just as the name implies, ECONO LODGE is an economical place to spend the nite.
Easy to find - directly off I55. Very basic room. Personally Would have traded the min-fridge & Microwave for a simple coffeemaker. Free WI FI.

Exellent coffee.
Front desk was polite and helpful.
Room is aging, as is bathroom.
Restaurants nearby.
Ice machine worked well.
M/W and fridge in room.
Bed was acceptable.

This is an older hotel past its prime. While room 204 looked OK there is generally a worn feel. They have put real black granite around the bathtub/shower, but they left the old tile around the rest of the bathroom. The bed was OK, but I woke up with a sore throat due to allergies so I am not sure how frequently the bedspreads are washed or if a previous guest had pets (it cleared up the next day). The wireless Internet worked fine and the TV had lots of stations, there was also a refrigerator and microwave in the room. If you are looking for an inexpensive one night stay, this hotel is OK, but it’s not someplace I will patronize again since I had the allergy problems.
