“Clean room No business center very nice employees”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 September 2010

The staff here are very thoughtful and helpful. Its not so great for business travelors since the internet link is a little weak and there is no business center. The beds are not the new cushy ones that are in some of the remodeled/newer hotels but they arent as hard as the ones at other hotels in the area. When I checked other hotels in the area for business centers, the ones that had business centers charged more than double the price. The staff is thoughtful and if you have to stay in Grenada its a good place to stay. The breakfast is just the normal stuff. What is good is that they offer fruit and cookies at any time. The pool was very clean.

“Very Happy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 April 2010

We checked into the Comfort Inn after checking out of another place down the street. We stopped at the Comfort Inn with a resveration. The person at the desk, Smeeka, was EXTREMELY accomodating. After hearing about our experience with the sub-par conditions at the location down the street, she made a phone call to our room, after check-in, to make sure we were happy with our accomodations. The room was very clean, and everything was in working order. Would go back.

“Nice and Clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 July 2009

Stopped in for a night on our way to the beach. The room was clean and had nice decor. The bed was comfortable. There was also a refrigerator and a microwave if needed. Complimentary breakfast in the morning but we didn't stay. Overall, nice stay.

“Treat Hurricane Evacuees Horribly”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2008

While evacuating from Hurricane Gustav, I booked a room with the Comfort Inn in Grenada Mississippi through Orbitz. I have a toy Poodle that stays in a kennel and weighs all of 5 pounds. Since I booked through Orbitz, I just assumed that the hotel welcomed pets. It has always been my experience when evacuating that even hotels who had a no pet policy relaxed their rules due to the emergency. The hotel put me out of my room in which I only stayed one night, but charged me for 2 nights, because they put me out after 12 noon. They put me and my family out knowing that parish officials in Louisiana were not allowing residents to return home because of the dangers of downed power lines and flooding. I am contacting the Attorney General of Mississippi, the BBB, and the CEO of Comfort Inn Hotel Chains. Don't ever stay at Comfort Inn Hotels they are heartless and cruel.

  • Liked — nothing they were cruel and uncaring about hurricanes evacuees with children and pets
  • Disliked — The fact that Guest Manager Miriam Worsham was unconcerned and unsympathetic to my families dire situation in needing a place to stay while evacuatiing.

“their concern for cleanliness showed-”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 March 2008

Fast check in, quiet room, and super clean. I had cleaned rooms for a summer job, so I knew what to look for- the staff rotated rooms so a different lady cleaned each of the 4 days I was there- all did a great job.
the bed was comfortable, and internet was fast.
the TV made a strange buzzing that stopped with a jiggle.
only down side was cell phone signal was weak in room- might have been that room on ground floor. otherwise I would give all 5 stars

  • Liked — clean and quiet
  • Disliked — cell phone signal in room
