THIS is hotel charged my credit card even though I canceled reservations months ago...manager RENEE promised to refund me some of my money (i want all of it) but she NEVER did! I have the BBB on them and also will be contacting a lawyer to retrieve my money!! BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL!! IF YOU CAN ADVOID IT PLEASE RUN AND DO SO! POOR EXCUSE OF A HOTEL!!

My family had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Forest, MS on our way to Georgia, and again on the way back to Texas from Georgia. Very clean, welcoming, comfortable, friendly - can't say enough good things about it!

I was on my way to Georgia from Texas and stayed at this hotel in Mississippi. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and we had a restful night. The lady behind the front desk was very pleasant and answered several questions. I recommend this hotel if you're in the Forest area.

I was very disappointed in this hotel!!! I made a reservation through central reservations and when I arrived the front desk had no knowledge of my reservation....even though I had a confirmation number. Luckily I had a copy of it saved on my email so that they could see it in writing. The front desk general manager (Renee) was so rude!!! Although she saw everything in writing she still did not want to honor my reservation.....her reply was simply...I don't show this reservation in my system!!! I even heard her tell central reservations on the phone that "this was not her problem!!!!" Then after about two hours of debating with her she stated I will give you this room for $85. That was still not acceptable considering I am a government state employee and my rate was suppose to be a government rate of $70. So once I spent another hour on the phone with central reservations they finally advised her that she had to honor my reservation even though it was not in her system.....she was extremely mad and threw my credit card on the counter!!! I was very shocked that she was the general manager acting this way. Once I finally got my room, my husband noticed that our shower curtain had mold all over it, so we had to request a new one!!!! Then later the weekend my family went swimming and the hotel staff watched us (out of a window) swim the entire time as if we were aliens or something. My stay here was a horrible experience!!! To top it off the breakfast is a joke!!! The advertisement states cheese omeletes and a hot breakfast....well there wasn't cheese omeletes - it was more like microwaved powdered eggs and they bacon it totally microwaved!!! You will get a much better deal the McDonalds for $5!!! I here that Hampton Inn is coming to Forest, MS right next door and I couldn't be happier!!! I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS EVER AND WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE IF THEY ARE ANOTHER RACE OTHER THAN WHITE!!!!! Very, very prejudice!!!!
