Staying at the Heart's Content Bed and Breakfast was a wonderful experience! The home is beautiful, spacious, and airy. The furnishings are beautiful and authentic to the period of the home. The wrap-around porch is an inviting place to sit and relax with wonderful wicker furniture. The breakfast provided was very good and more than we could have asked for...elegantly served and yet homey and filling. The dining area has yet to be refurbished but I actually loved the look of what seemed to be the original wallpaper. I found it added a lot of character to the room.

Alex and Sharon, the owners, are the nicest people. They made my sister and I feel very welcome and at home. What more could you ask for?

We enjoyed our stay so much and wished we had a camera to take some pictures of this wonderful home. We have told all our friends about it.

I cannot say enough good things about Heart's Content--my husband and I loved every second of it! The home was beautiful and our room and bathroom were decorated to perfection! We enjoyed the antiques and Victorian-era decor, but we also enjoyed the flat-screen TV and cable--it was the best of both worlds. They also had a welcome basket of snacks and drinks which was a wonderful, unexpected surprise. And breakfast in the morning was fabulous--everything was homemade and was delicious. We felt like royalty being served by such gracious hosts in the beautiful dining room! I highly recommend Heart's Content and would definitely stay there again.

Heart;s content was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast. It was a quiet place. We really loved it. It was a beautiful old home. It was still being remodeled but that did not bother us. Room was private and just what we needed. Owners were helpful and accomadating but not in our faces. Felt right at home and would love to go back.
