We booked in advance for an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Canton, MS, a total of 3 rooms. (3 months in advance.) We checked in approx. 9:15 pm. The front desk clerk went through the motions of checking us in, giving us rooms on different floors, and on oppposite sides of the building. Even though we requested rooms together. The clerk handed us our room access cards without offering to direct us to where our rooms were located. Not at all hospitable. The rooms were clean except for the mildew on one of the rooms shower liners at about shoulder level. The mattresses & linens were great! When we were ready to check out the following morning we had to wait for someone to come to the front desk. By the time the front desk clerk arrived there was a line of guests ready to check out. The breakfast provided was just ok. Overall, our stay was fine mostly due to the comfortable & clean beds. The front desk staff needs improvement in the hospitality department!
