“Gusta Room Stay... out of the country”
9-4-08, Wednesday, Gusta caused our lights to go offseveral days. I am on oxygen, nebulizer; we made it to Hampton Inn at 11AM the lady told us room is empty but not cleaned yet. Give couple of hours then check back with them. We called several times on the cell phone still not availible. Around 2:30PM we pulled intothe parking lot to sit and wait. 3:30PM still not ready. The lady at the front desk told my daughter if we would go and eat the room should be ready. 5:00PM they had our room ready we got our key card and went to our room. AS sopon as the door open you could smell dog urine. To top it off.... towels on the floor in the bathroom floor dirty, bed has been slept in. The smell was strong.... I have asthma and allergies and as if this was bad enough.... my daughter pulled off her shoes OH MY GOD!!!!! There was urine on the floor.... We went to the front desk and they gave us another room... OH YES MORE!!! We had two hand towels and 1 bath towel. I set my daughter down to get somemore, she came back with 1..... The Inn was having equipment problems (they were going to a laundry mat to have towels for visitors.....For myself I had not slepted in 2 days due to the heat and unable to get my electric assistance... Now mind you we were there at 11AM, Was able to get roomkey at 5PM. After all the wait room was not ready!!! Stunk of dog and urine on top of room clened at all. Think about it 6 hours waiting on a room because it needed to be cleaned and HELLO it was ashame and disgrace
