My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in Brookhaven, MS. The hotel was very clean and the room was nice. We had a comfortable king size bed with a sofa in the room. The hotel provided an antenna so we could use the wireless high speed internet (we don’t have a laptop with a wireless card). The hot breakfast was tasty and included biscuits, sausage and eggs. They also had the normal continental breakfast items (cereal, muffins, fruit, etc). The hotel staff was friendly and made our check-in quick and easy. There are many restaurants in the areas to choose from (but stay away from the Pizza Hut because the service is terrible). I would definitely stay at this hotel again if in the area.

This Hampton has great beds. The rooms were not incredibly spacious but adequate enough for a brief stay. They have lovely duvets on the beds and lots of pillows. I truly slept like a baby here. The rooms was well cleaned and maintained. My biggest complaint was the air conditioning was not getting as cool as I would have liked. Even when it was left on while we were away the room still wasn't cool and refreshing. Perhaps this was just our room and not a hotelwide problem. The owner was rude to my kids when they were seated downstairs. I'll chalk that up to him not knowing any better. The older blond woman at the counter could use a lesson or two in Commom Courtesy 101 but again in this case I overlooked the slight attitude. Overall, our stay was very comfortable and I would definitely recommend this location to travelers looking for a safe, well maintained place to stay for a few nights. There is a small pool onsite and internet access. Breakfast was adequate for what it was. Our room was a little tight but still comfortable. Lobby is very presentable and welcoming. I liked this place. Happy traveling!!!
