We booked this hotel through hot wire, and it worked out perfectly. It's very nice, has a pretty lobby and fountain, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to the Club floor, so we got free breakfast every morning, and they also offered free appetizers for happy hour. The pool and whirlpool are small but nice; exercise room is very nice. Would definitely recommend. The only reason I'm withholding a 5 star rating is because breakfast isn't standard.

We've stayed at this place two times and have been impressed. We usually stay at a 4* hotel and this hotel deserves that rating. The lobby is warm and comfortable for someone who wants to relax down there and read the paper with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Among the things we appreciate are in-room Starbucks coffee, free water bottles in the room, free fast wireless internet, clean rooms, very nice linens, warm terry robes, good cable service with Showtime, a nice desk and easy chair and a free paper every day, including Sunday. They just don't nickel and dime you to death! The desk service was flawless and the pool/hot tube area small, but nice. We didn't eat in the hotel, but within one block we found both a nice breakfast place and a very nice wine bar/cafe. You can be downtown Mpls in 25 minutes.

Stayed at this hotel a number of time on weekend trips to Minn. Good restaurant great location very upscale rooms .you will not go wrong on this hotel

To start out the review, I just want to say that I began my hotel stay at the Sheraton with a rather negative attitude. Our insurance company put us up in a hotel while our wood floors were being redone. I typically take the week before Labor Day off to get the kids ready for school. Since we were at the hotel with our dog, I couldn't take the kids back to school shopping, etc. because we couldn't leave the dog unattended at the hotel. So I knew that I wouldn't be able to get everything done that I wanted to.

It took about 30 seconds at the hotel before my attitude changed. Upon check-in, the front desk staff gave our dog a treat and had us on our way to the room in about 2 minutes. Our room was a one-bedroom suite, which was nice since we were going to be there 4 nights. Another bonus was that we were on the "Club Level" which gave us free access to snacks and water all day, a breakfast buffet, and evening appetizers. The breakfast buffet was not elaborate, but it had all the essentials at the right price. The evening appetizers were good, but the brownies that were included were the best!

The hotel facilities are very nice! The workout room was better than the average hotel workout room. I opted to workout there rather than run down the road to the gym I usually go to. The pool was small, but the times were were down there, we had it to ourselves. The computer area was nice for the moments I could escape the kids and dog and do some internet surfing!

The staff was friendly and attentive and they went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. We would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family we have visiting!
