If you're not needing a pool, and want a room that's always pleasing, this is your best bet in Winona. We stay in Winona fairly often due to family in the area. This time it was a class reunion. This is always our choice when we're going to be mostly just sleeping (i.e. not wanting to hang out in a pool or hot tub - why pay for those when you can't use them?). This time we discovered the Ground Round next door a few yards across the parking lot - great cozy bar, open late (not always true in Winona), and cheerful, friendly staff there too. The free breakfast in the morning is just right, with enough choices even for those of us trying to watch our calories and carbs - love waffles but trying to be good. In summary - nothing but positive thoughts about this place and we'll be back often.

We stayed here when we came to watch our daughter's performance in "King Lear" at the Great River Shakespeare Festival. This was our first experience with Winona, MN and we were so pleased with our stay at this Days Inn. The rooms were large, very clean, and the beds extremely comfortable. Service was great and the breakfast was just an added benefit.

We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Winona, MN area.

I have stayed at Days Inn elsewhere and have loved it! Glad there's a Days Inn in Winona where my daughter will be attending college. It's reasonably priced, lovely rooms and the complimentary breakfast is so worth it!!
