Stayed two nights with family for holiday get away. Property was clean and attractive, well kept. Staff said the hotel had been recently updated and it showed. The rooms were clean and beds reasonable. We had a king bed with a queen sofa sleeper and the sofa sleeper was better than most but still a pull out. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast had a larger selection than the usual and was fresh and well maintained. The pool area looked nice though we ran out of time for swimming. The location was convenient right off 35W with Panera, Chipotle, Target and grocery store just across the freeway. Parking lot was well lighted and the neighboring area looked good. It’s also just a few minutes from all the Rosedale Center shopping. We would definitely stay again, this Holiday Inn is above average.

The plus here is they are updating the place, it is clean, and location is good.

But, the new furnishings were sub-par. Tube TV, and a small table with two uncomfortable chairs. I stay at a LOT of hotels, they have a desk and comfortable office/desk chair 99% of the time.

The two women working the front desk were not welcoming. I am used to a big happy "oh I see you are a priority club member, welcome!". Nothing from these women. The last several holiday inns gave me a welcome gift (water, apple, cookies in a gift bag).

Two summers ago I spent 8 weeks in a row here, and I was looking forward to returning.

I was disappointed. I will try a different place next time.

We picked the hotel based on it's location north of the cities and near the highway. It was a clean, quiet room. No complains about tv, carpet, etc. at all. The staff was great, very friendly. And it was an excellent breakfast. Easy in, a good night, and easy out.

Good location in close proximity to 694 and I35. Lobby and public areas have been upgraded. Rooms have not. As stated in previous reviews, carpet, room decor etc have grown tired. Biggest old TV's you'll see ! Pool was big and fitness center looked nice. Staff is friendly and there is an attached restaurant / sports bar that attracts the locals. Food is so / so but prices on both food and drink were very reasonable. Once the rooms are done, this place will be nice! One additional note, while the rooms were old and worn, they were very clean.
