We stayed here this past weekend for a wedding. I was a little worried due to the fact that when we checked in there was a hole in our bed spread- in the center of the bed. The room was clean but definitely no frills. The hot tub was broken so that was a disappointment but the hotel did take 15.00 off of all the rooms in our party. The lobby is very nice- and the continental breakfast looked nice although by the time we at 9:00 there was not much selection left. Check your bill though- there was a miscellaneous room charge of an additional 15.00 just a mix up- but the front desk cleared it up immediately.
We were Ok with the room for the price- had we paid more probably would not have been satisifed. Just remember - you get what you pay for. They could definitely use some updating- other reviews indicated the rooms were large- no they were you average size.

I recently rented this location's hospitality room for my son's first birthday party and I was very impressed. Their hospitality room is a large party room that easily fit all 30 of my guests and could probably fit even more. There was also a small kitchenette and refrigerator that was perfect for food prep and storage. The connected pool/hot tub area was another great addition to my party. Many guests decided to go swimming and had a great time. There were always clean towels available and the pool area was spotless. The staff that was working at the time was very professional and able to help us work the television in the room as well as get some additional forks and spoons for the party. Once again I was very pleased and impressed by this location. I highly recommend this room to anyone who needs a very affordable party space for any occasion!

This is not your typical AmericInn, the staff, decor and service make you feel warm and welcome. The pool area is really nice, very clean and well maintained. Coffee always hot and full in the foyer and great lounge with fireplace, super fast internet service and games to play. I highly recommend this as a destination hotel. There is an amazing number of restaurants and shopping opportunities within a 1/2 mile of the hotel too.

This place was recommended to me by a friend who honeymooned there. Great location - even for the Twin Cities. Great rooms - very clean and comfortable - and large! Good breakfast and the staff are helpful and cheerful!
