The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was great, with a nice water slide and a great hot tub and a sauna. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for a one night get away meeting another couple for their anniversary. We booked the room with a king size bed. As soon as we opened the door to the room I knew we were in trouble as the smell of stale smoke was totally overwhelming. We were put in a handicapped room with a king bed which that we could live with as it was very spacious but for heaven's sakes the smell was like being in a bar. I did go to the front desk to see if we could change rooms but no other rooms were available. We were offered a can of air freshener or we could leave the room for an hour and someone would go in and use some kind of oxidizer in there which we did not want to have to leave the room since we just got there and it was 9:00 at night. We did try the air freshener which didn't help much at all but managed to get through the night with the smell. This room was not cheap by any means and we expected more from Americinn. We have stayed at many of the Americinns and this was by far the worst experience we had. No discount was given for the room either. Very disappointing!! Won't take that chance again there.

We've stayed at this hotel twice now. From someone who has stayed in numerous hotels, this is one of my favorites. The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Nice pool area with a waterslide the kids loved, and very clean, comfortable rooms. We will definately stay in this hotel again when in the Shakopee, Mn area.

The hotel has a very warm feeling and a GREAT pool area! Staff was very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be back! They were all extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided great insight into things to do while i was visiting.
