First of all, if you do go, request a room on the parking lot side. Noisy freeway on the other. Prepare to eat elsewhere. Not near enough room in breakfast area.

Other than that, typical Fairfield Inn.

Nice location in Roseville, ( N. side of St. Paul, east side of MPLS.) Near the big Rosedale Mall. Great staff, excellent free breakfast, large clean rooms, free parking.
Overall, a very good value for a short or long stay in this area. Zero hassles or problems with this property on three different stays. Marriott quality and value.

We have stayed at this Fairfield in the past so there were no surprises. The hotel has been renovated fairly recently, and was in good condition, nothing unexpected. We asked for a room with a refrigerator and the room they gave us did not have one, but they said they'd have one brought to us. We went up to the room, and immediately the desk clerk came up and asked if we minded moving to the room next door which already had a refrigerator and microwave. The housekeeping staff helped and we were moved within a couple of minutes. We hadn't even started to unpack! Great service!!!

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice, and when we checked in we were told that because the next day was Easter, most of the staff would be off to be with their families, and we were asked if there was anything we needed. We asked for towels, and they were given to us immediately.

The continental breakfast was the usual, with a nice selection of hot and cold items. I like to eat healthy foods, not a lot of sugar or fat, and there was plenty to choose from.

We were at this location for three nights, and had no complaints. We were surprised at the rate -- less than $100 a night. Good deal!!

We had heard that there were some car break-ins in this "hotel row" but when we asked about it, they said there was no problem. We parked in front in the handicapped area, and had no problem at all. It's a relatively safe part of the Twin Cities.

Had meetings in the New Brighton area on the following day so the hotel was convenient to the location. In the middle of remodeling and the room felt a little sparse, colors were nice but something felt 'missing'. Lobby area could use an uplift, although staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was good and well stocked and had just the right amount of people eating at the right time. No exercise room on site I believe but they have a fitness option which I didn't explore. It looks like there is some sort of walking/biking path behind the hotel. If you have the option, choose a room on the non-freeway side, road noise kept me up a bit and I ended up using my ear plugs. Road noise didn't bother my associate at all though - he lives in a major metro area whereas I'm far more isolated. Rate was pretty good and there was a promo that we received some coupons for future Fairfield stays throughout the country. Pool looked very clean. Elevator was SLOW, just took the steps.
