I am staying at the Guesthouse as a Mayo Clinic patient. Started my first night horrified at the hotel I chose and am very surprised it meets regulations. My husband phoned the Guesthouse from Canada to see if I could move here immediatly. They were so accomodating. Great rates for long term stays.
Travelling alone from Canada for medical reasons is scary enough!
I do feel very comfortable at the Guesthouse. Everything is within walking distance, there is even a beautiful walking trail close buy. Groceries, drugstore, liquor store, restaurants all within a block. Some stains on furniture, but overall clean and comfortable.

It had a very comfortable atmosphere. Rooms very quite, especially being right next to major highway, did not hear a thing.

Very close to everything we needed, food, service facilities and more. All within 5 miles.

I brough my mother to the Mayo Clinic for doctor visits and tests. We did not know how long we would be there. As the week went on, and we had to stay additional days, they were able to extend our room for us. There is a discount rate if you know that you will be staying a week, however, the hotel was very helpful in allowing us to stay as long as we needed. The free shuttle to the hopital and clinic is also a very convenient service as parking can be very expensive and difficult. It leaves every hour and then brings you back again. The breakfast is quite good with a wide variety of healthy items. And then, if you like Famous Dave's, it is attached to the hotel. Parking is convenient. The beds are very comfortable too. And when I forgot my down pillow there, they sent it to me within 3 days.

I don't know who the other reviewers are, but they certainly weren't in our room. Carpet in hall and room was dirty, furnishings are run down, walls were dirty in room and hall, blankets had stains on them, need I say more? But I will--free shuttle to the Mayo was a great service, too bad the seats are stained.
