After traveling late, i arrived to find that my king, non-smoking room had been changed to a queen smoking reservation. No comment when i checked in, just let me find it out after i opened the door. Then the desk claimed that i, as an ex-smoker of twenty years, booked the room as a "hotel select" and that they had no other rooms. It is midnight, so i get to stay in the room assigned, but i have already booked another HGI property for the rest of my business trip. I always book this chain, but will post this on our company travel site to avoid this property. Too many other HGI properties in the twin cities to book this one.
