We needed a double room , because we were in the area for a Wedding. We were lucky to find this fine establishment. The room itself was large, clean & comfy. The service personel were warm & accomidating. All the amenities one would want at a good hotel were available. The people of Oakdale were most welcoming. Also there are several restaurants close by.I would highly recommend this hotel to friends & family.

Stayed one night , hotel was nice over all 4 out of 5 stars, price was a little high 90.00 . but was clean , up to date and staff was very friendly.

Personally i wouldn't have chosen it if i had a choice however having said that, it was due to the hotel, rooms and amenities but i wouldn't deny that the staff were incredible in trying to make you feel as comfortable as possible and helping you out as much as possible.

The lifts were rather dated and slow. I would have also expected free mineral water as least everyday, i was surprised not to find any water jug to boil water but i understand its a cultural difference because it would have been expected to just drink from the tap.

The beds were quite comfortable and it was real good to have fast and reliable internet service. However, the thing that really stuck out out a sore thumb was the air conditioning service that was those that blew for 5 mins and then stopped for the next 10 mins and in summer, this was unbearably stuffy during the next 10 mins for me. Plus the on and off motion of this airconditioning was giving me sleep that was constantly interrupted.

The bathroom was ok with the basic usual amenities you would expect.

Breakfast could have been improved though. Very basic and DIY - like make your own waffle . Not enough variety and got really boring after staying there more than a week.

I stayed at this hotel overnight while driving to Chicago. It is better appointed than your typical Best Western, with nice, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms.

There is a smattering of shops and services nearby, although it is quite far from central Minneapolis-St. Paul if that matters any.

I really appreciated the "freebie" extras, like a nice breakfast buffet, a business centre with fast new computers offering free internet access and free parking. Service was also pleasant. All in all it was a very nice pit stop!
