We loved our stay at the Deutsche Strasse! Ramona and Gary were such wonderful hosts! We stayed over Valentine's weekend, and were greeted with a heart shaped chocolate cake when we arrived--so thoughtful! The complimentary soda, bottled water, and wine were also a nice treat. We only wish that we could have stayed longer.

While in New Ulm, we enjoyed the Schell's brewery tour, bowling at Concordia Lanes, and an authentic German dinner at the Kaiserhof. After a restful night's sleep in the flower room, we absolutely loved the delicious breakfast the next morning. Again, Ramona and Gary were truly wonderful hosts. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice to meet more of the Deutsche Strasse family during our stay. VERY impressive breakfast and service.
Very friendly people. I plan to go back this winter to cross country ski at the state park. Our group plans to return another year because of the friendly and fun community.

“Beautiful B & B Experience”

We stayed in the Castle Room. It was one of the hottest weekends of the year but our room was very comfortable.

Gary and Ramona were great host and Romona is a wonderful cook.

“Was worth the detour from I-90 to stay here”

My wife and I recently stayed here while driving from New York to Seattle. The B&B is located in a stately old mansion in a picturesque southern MN town. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and our hostess couldn't have been more helpful. We had a very restful and quiet night and a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed the detour from I-90 through the MN farm country to get there and back on to I-90.

What a treat to stay in a beautiful historic mansion, and what an unbelievably delicious breakfast!
We brought our 4 year old daughter with us. She stayed on our little toddler air mattress, but this place is better suited to adults.
