Had room with hot tub. While using the tub I noticed bugs swimming . . . Bathroom tub was also dirty. Told the front desk and was told, that's funny, we never have had a problem in "that room" before. Then was told, I suppose your looking for a discount! Nobody ever apologized. Will never stay at this rude & dirty place again.

We had family come from all over the midwest to get together last summer. We loved our stay. The pool and hot tub were great. All the staff went out of their way to go above and beyond to make our stay great. It is a beautiful lodge and we can't wait to get back together there again. Our thanks to the staff and manager for making my family feel special.

I selected this hotel for the Honeymoon suite. We called and reserved the room in November because we wanted to be sure we had the room. We were told no problems and it was ours for the night. Upon arrival we were given a different room and told the reservation was for an executive suite. Then we get to our room the hot tub is inoperable and dirty. When we contacted the manager the next morning she wouldn't even appologize. She said there was another bride who had reserved the honeymoon suite in JANUARY. Guess they just deleted my reservation that was made 2 months before. They also screwed up my bride's maids room. They were both supposed to stay in the room. When the reservation was made both names were given and the one girl used her credit card to reserve the room. When the girl who didn't reserve with her card showed up to check in the hotel staff turned her away claiming she was not listed as a guest for the room. I will never stay at that place again. The manager argued with us and was telling us we were wrong at no time did she appologize for the hotels mistakes. I would not be as upstet if she had just appologized. She basically ruined my wedding night.

The staff at the AmericInn was wonderful! The pool was a bit on the chilly side, however the whirlpool bathtub in the room was great! The location is directly off the freeway and within 2 miles of the town itself-in that sense it does feel slightly isolated. I would certainly stay here again, however.
