Stayed here while photographing swans. Very clean, very quiet, very accomodating. Asked for a late checkout, no problem. Currently renovating, (the breakfast room), but you Would never know it. Will definitely stay here again.

We earned a free nights stay and booked this particular hotel with our Best Western Rewards points. The Best Western Rewards points are by far the best hotel points system out there, it was so easy to earn a free room!

Check in was great and when we opened the door to our room I couldn't help but notice the extra touch of a small wrapped gift for us thanking us for using our reward points - the gift had chocolates, water, peanuts and coupons for local restaurants. We ended up using one of the coupons that night and got a great deal.

We had a king sized bed which was very comfortable. Room was large and spacious. The only upgrade I could see improving the room would be a more modern television.

Continental breakfast provided a variety of foods but I don't know what it is about toasters at continental breakfasts because they take forever! Not just at this hotel but in general. I must have a speedy toaster at home I guess! My only suggestion would have been to have more fresh fruits. They only had apples on this particular day, a variety would have been welcomed.

Albertville Outlet Mall was a short drive away - we're talking like 8 miles away and the deals were amazing there. I am already planning a girls weekend getaway here next spring and will definitely be staying at this hotel when we do.

We visited Monticello for our son's wedding. Our entire family stayed at the Best Western. We were all so happy with our rooms, the hotel staff goes above and beyond to be accomodating and courteous. The room we had was very clean and quiet. We so appreciated the pool (to entertain the younger ones), and the wonderful breakfast. We made use of the hotels banquet room for a family reunion as well, which was very nice.
And of course the fresh baked cookies were a hit too!!!

I had mistakenly booked a smoking room. I am very thankful that the desk clerk pointed that out. When I said I certainly didn't want a smoking room, he quickly reprogrammed my card keys and said that because there were only 4 rooms vacant for that night, the only place he could put me was in a two-room suite. "Enjoy", he said with a smile. He also gave me a bag with water and treats in it, as well as a package of coupons for nearby dining. The suite was fantastic. Huge, clean, and beautiful. It was like an apartment. It was very easy to get around in Monticello as it's not a large place, and I took lots of pictures of the Mississippi River shortly before sunset. There is a gas station a short distance away and it is only about a block off the highway. Great location, and the breakfast was quite nice, a lot of variety. This hotel would have received five stars from me if it weren't for the fact that they allow smoking in some of the rooms. I could smell cigarette smoke wafting under the door in my room and it really turned me off. Overall, great service, great location. Make it all non-smoking and I'd recommend this place to anyone.
