Stayed here to avoid staying at the pricier downtown hotels while in town for a concert at First Avenue. Shuttle service to downtown, but we kind of had to hassle them about it, since the lady attending the desk never communicated to the driver that she'd made arrangements with us to leave at 9 PM. Also, inconsistent service. We were greeted by and joked around with a very friendly attendant who then switched out with a surly, angry-looking young woman who seemed quite irritated by our questions. I've read about the free bottled water being in the room, which was nice, but ours had already been opened and was half-empty (or half-full, depending on how you look at it) which was a bit gross and shows a lack of attention by the cleaning staff. Never a good sign. It was, however, nice and quiet and the lobby area looked inviting. Bathroom was OK, just a couple dingy or grimy spots that could use some attention. Beds were clean and comfy. Lots of room on the wall for a decent flat-screen TV, this is one of the only places I've stayed in the past year who still have a tube TV sitting on the dresser/desk.
