We stayed here as the wedding we were attending was having their reception hosted in the ballroom at the Marriott Minneapolis West. From the time we stepped into the hotel, I could tell this would be a lovely experience. The desk clerks were very welcoming, the room was very clean, everyone you spoke to was helpful and kind, the ballroom was beautiful and just the right size for the reception, the meal was good and served quickly and impressively. The king bed wasn't a Cal King, but still very roomy and a great value.

I have only stayed here once and it was in room 405. The room is setup as a suite with a wet bar/mini fridge and living room.

Nice bath and body works toiletries.

Just a very pleasant stay.

The restaurant in the hotel (kips) is also a great spot to grab a beer.

This is a hotel in a very convenient area, close to downtown, but close to freeways to get you in our out quickly. The downside is the access from highways is not initiative and it is best to go via google or GPS. Front desk staff was friendly, informative, and professional. Lobby was clean and attractive. The king size room was as expected in a Marriot. Our room had one flaw, the sink in the bath had a small crack from which I received a small harmless cut. One major deal breaker for me was the provision of outdoor seating near the front doors which was a haven for smokers. We had to walk through a haze of smoke when going out for dinner. The restaurant was an "Irish Pub", and I was not sure if it was operated by Marriott or not. It was just OK with slow service, but there are plenty of choices within a mile in the trendy "West End"neighborhood.

A friend booked this hotel for us for 4 nights. We stayed a week in Minneasota in total but travelled up north and stayed in a lodge for 2 nights and the last remaining night with our friends. Tried to catch the Northern Lights, real reason for trip up to northern Minneasota but unfortunately two nights after we left there was a spectacular display.
The Marriott Hotel was very clean and the rooms spacious with a nice comfortable bed. Everything was modern and kept in touch with family every day on the net. The bar is nice with comfy seating and the staff are very attentive and gracious. The food in the restaurant was good though we didn't have dinner there every night as our friends brought us out and entertained us. They brought us to all the local attractions and by car everwhere was easily accessable. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel for tourists as well as business travellers.
