The room was nice and clean, not cozy, but more than adequate. It had a mini-kitchen and a very nice breakfast. The price is right and it is located three blocks from Nicollet Mall and a block from the symphony. Parking was $13 a night for those who are driving. The one problem I had was the group of exchange students who conducted conversations in the hallway. This ceased around 11:30 and I am sure if I had gone outside in my pajamas they would have been mortified.

I will stay here again.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and provides a good breakfast. The only downside was the distance to things... but priced much better than other hotels.

AS a Priority Club member, I have stayed in HI Expresses all over the country and this one matches up in quality, but lacks in that "warm and cozy" feeling that so many HI Expresses provide.

Just one block from the convention center, the hotel provides easy access as well as easy access to most of downtown. If it is cold, it is just a half block walk to the Hotel Ivy and the Rat Maze (Actually called Skywalk).

Rooms are nice size and clean, nice size bathrooms, standard pool and hot tub.

The staff is nice, but never gives you the feeling that they care much about you being there. Not to imply they are doing a bad job, just that they do not make you feel too cared about.

Free breakfast is nice, but they close that breakfast room at 9:30 AM...no late entry and no going in later for some coffee or hot chocolate. many HI Expresses provide cookies at night, but not here, nothing to make you feel special.

It is a nice place, but may look elsewhere next time as I like being made felt special.

My daughter and I stayed at the Holiday Inn in downtown Minneapolis. It was everything you expect from Holiday Inn and the price was right for our budget. It is close to Nicollet Mall so were were able to walk to many wonderful restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again
