We got a great deal here of only $65. a night on Expedia. We stayed for two nights the weekend before Valentine's Day. We were happy we were able to check in at 9 am on Friday morning as they had rooms available! (We got there early as we came on the Northstar Train). The rooms were great... we were very happy with the room; we just wish we had requested a view of downtown Mpls. (IDS, etc.)... we were looking out at the convention center side, so not as nice. A couple of little complaints though.... very dry air in the rooms, towels were also really dry (not soft at all), no phone book in the room so we could order in pizza, no room service menu in print OR on the TV. So... we had to go to the restaurant, which is probably what they wanted! If you go... do some research ahead of time on area restaurants you may want to dine at. We enjoyed Dave's in the skyway for breakfast Friday (not open on weekends... and everything on the skyway is closed!!!) We hope to hit Hell's Kitchen next time too... so many people told us that is a winner. We do like the location of the hotel... really close to the convention center/ orchestra hall/ skyways. It is really pretty, and the health club/pool looked awesome too, although we didn't have time for them!
