Stayed at the Hilton for a conference last summer. While the staff was friendly (especially the staff on the concierge level and in the restaurant), our room was quite dated and in need of refurbishment. Weather was cool while we were there, and unfortunately, the heater in our room did not work, just pumped out cold air. Although two different workmen were sent to our room three times over six days, the heater was never fixed. And one of the workmen said it was consistent pratice to take parts from one room to replace those in another, but that in this instance the system was so old there was nothing they could do ...
Great location - walking distance to a number of good restaurants, the convention center and the ball park (a little far but still doable). And again, friendly and caring staff. But infrastructure needs assistance. I would try someplace else next time.

Stayed here for business in February 2012 and was upgraded to the top floor, which was the Executive level. Service was great at the desk. There is a good parking garage underneath the hotel, which is nice during the winter. The room was clean with a nice view of downtown Minneapolis.

However, the rooms need to be updated. The folding mirrored closet doors and carpet screamed '70s. I noticed gouges in the wood furniture and multiple dirty stains on two lampshades. The TV was huge with a lot of HD channels but the remote didn't work. I called for a replacement but it never came.

I noticed a lot of senior guests, maybe the older decor is still around because of the target clientele?

Hotel was extremely clean, restaurant/gym facilities were good. The staff were very responsive. The location is great- within walking distance to the conference center and dozens of great restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed at this Hilton on a business trip. The staff and accomodations are very good. I had room service one night and it was just marginal....and way overpriced. The food we had for our meetings was very good and the service was excellent. I had a room on the 21st floor and it was modern and a decent sized room. I didn't get a chance to use the workout facility. I was told that the main floor restaurant is good, but didn't eat there myself. I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it appears that they do a very nice job of keeping it looking new. It was very clean throughout.
