We stayed at this hotel for my 50th Birthday and the whole family joined us. We knew it had a waterpark but didn't expect the beautiful venetian atmosphere of the pool area. I could enjoy the atmosphere and the hot tub while the kids and g'kids did all the active waterpark stuff. It wasn't too noisy and I felt like I was in Venice with the paintings on the walls(have actually been to venice since and can say the same)! The room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet very good. Pretty sure we had coupons for buffet and only had to pay for any extra people who visited. Would love to go again this year...

Stayed on December 3rd in a two bed suite with my wife and 4 young children. Room was very clean, modern, and had a full size fridge which was great. It also had a sink, microwave, and tons of cabinet space. The chair in the separate sitting area also pulled out as a one person bed. Two flat screens Tv's were also in the room. Beds were very comfortable and clean. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and on the ball. A crib was brought right away up to my room based off my online request and the front desk even called confirming it was delivered.

The waterpark was clean and just the right size for our family. I really liked the fact the waterpark is only for guests. Thats a plus. The kids also loved the arcade that has a decent selection of games for them and prizes. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and what's really nice is kids under 12 eat free. Food was not bad and server was very social and nice. Overall this is a great hotel for the price and very comfortable and clean.

The Holiday Inn Arbor Lakes features an indoor "water park" rather than a typical pool. It's small but well designed, with two 3-story water slides, a lily-pad crossing, a 4-sided basketball goal and plenty of soft basketballs in the main pool. There is also a kiddie pool that is about 8 inches deep and features three slides, a waterfall, water cannons, and a few geysers. Waterpark passes are included in weekend hotel stays (it's open only on weekends) and there is a concession stand, bar, and plenty of seating for kids and adults. Adjacent to the pool is a small arcade on the second level. The hotel features a Venice theme; the pool area is designed to feel like a small city block in Venice.

We enjoyed the rest of the hotel as much as the pool. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. Somewhat to our surprise, the hotel restaurant was wonderful! We had planned to eat at one of the many restaurants that surround the hotel, but we stayed in and were very satisfied with the quality, portions, and selection on the menu.

This was a clean, quiet, and overall fantastic facility. The pool was perfect for the kids and it was nice to be at a hotel that actually had enough pool towels available. The kids eat free program is wonderful! Our room had bunk beds with a tv in the kids area-brilliant!! I don't know why hotels didn't start building these earlier? I was suprised at how quiet the hotel was since it has a waterpark. I never heard a single child running through the halls or anywhere in the hotel. I also thought it was great having lifeguards. Most hotel pools are dangerous because kids are running wild but having lifeguards on duty helped to make me feel it was safe for my kids. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again.
