I think we would have had a better experience if the restrooms were cleaner. This is an average campground, tucked away in the hills of Minnesota. The drive was very pretty. Our site was fairly level & sized average. Trees kept our site nice & shaded. There was a playground that our children enjoyed. The swimming pond was very cold as it is spring fed. There are rocks containing the water and grass around it. My kids were too cold and didn't want to swim, which made for a very long Saturday. The restrooms were pretty dirty on Friday & Saturday day but better in the evening. Hair on the shower walls, sinks, and big spiderwebs full of bugs on the ceiling. Technically the garbage was emptied and the concrete floor looked mopped but everyone in our party thought it was kinda nasty. I know how difficult it is to clean a campground bathroom but the spiderwebs were there all weekend. The soap dispensor ran out so they put 1 bar of soap in a dish for everyone to share. The campground is recovering from a flood last year so the camp restaurant no longer exits and there are only port-o-potties near the swimming pond. The shower house / restrooms are near the playground which was convienient. Everyone was very nice but I don't think I'd return in a hurry.
