In the process of building our cabin we stayed he for the better part of 6 months and had a worker here for all of that time. Stayed in every room and all are clean, comfortable, some are a little loud but it also matters whos is next store. Nice place year round.

We stayed in the new part of the hotel. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They let us dry our clothes that got wet on a boat trip in their dryer. It is on the main drag of town so it can be a little noisy

We spent one night here on our way to the BWCA. This was very convenient to restaurants, shops and the Ely ranger station. Hotel owners were very friendly and helpful with directions. We stayed in the new section of the hotel - very modern and clean.

At least twice a year (sometimes three), I go canoe camping in the BWCA. For the past three years, I've always booked a room at the Adventure Inn for the night before put-in. If you're looking for a four-star hotel, you wont find one in Ely (check out the Blue Heron Bed and Breakfast if you want something fancier). However, if you want a clean, tidy, reasonably inexpensive place to stay the night before your camping trip, this is the place for you. Just this summer (June), the owners completed a brand-spankin' new addition; the rooms are squeaky clean. The "older" part is also very clean and some have small patios in front of the room. Louise, who sometimes works the front desk is a charm.
