The LakeLand Motel is a fantasic place to stay! The Cabin we stayed at was the single cabin with a full bed, table, chairs, bath, tv, AC, and closet. The cabin was very nice and cozy! It is smaller than a normal motel room but that was no bad deal, it was a great place. We stayed at this cabin for $50 dollars!!!!! That is such a great price! Some motels around the area wanted $100 for there place but they were not as nice as the lakeland motel.The owners were very nice and they really took pride in there buisness, they really cared for the people that stayed with them. I would definately recommond this place to others! My family and i would for sure go back in our next trip to Ely! =D

We were there for a Legion convention. Were pleasantly surprised at the property. Look like little cabins, a bit rustic but very clean! Bedding was very comfortable and pillows were perfect! Owners were very friendly and helpful in finding restaurants. The prices were cheaper than other properties in the area. Would highly recommend this place!

My wife and I stay here every year before our annual trip into the boundary waters. we get a single for $55. $55 BUCKS!!! Definitely the cheapest place in Ely and honestly it's not that bad. All of the rooms are in separate cabins so their is never noise issues. While I wouldn't say it's the cleanest place I've ever stayed in, it does the trick for the night before a camping trip. I have actually recommended this place to friends for the same purpose we use it for, and they have been pleased.
