I have stayed at this motel a few times, and it's usually the first place I check when I'm staying in town. The motel is actually several small cabins located on the property. It is located on main street near highway 1. This visit was on 12-27-11, we were in town doing a little ice fishing. We rented the 2 bedroom cabin for $55 per night, which is great compared to the more expensive Super 8 or the Grand Ely Lodge. We didn't need anything fancy like a pool, or continental breakfast. just a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay. The cabin had a rustic, notty pine feel. The cabin consists of 2 bedrooms, a small bathroom, and a table with a couple chairs. The blower on the furnace was a little noisey when it would kick on durning the night, but the beds were comfortable and the cabin was clean. The owners are friendly and helpful with directions, a fishing report, or local info. We would definetly stay here again.
