My husband and I are frequent visitors of this particular hotel, and we have enjoyed every visit here for the past 2 years or so. One of our last trips was in 2011, and we received nothing but great service.
When we pulled up to the entrance, we were greeted by a staff member who asked if we needed valet service or if we needed help with our bags. When we entered the hotel check in, the lobby was bright, spacious, clean and beautiful. The front desk staff was very professional, courteous, attentive and respectful.
The rooms appear to always be well-kept, lovely, and spacious, and the bathroom was a dream! It's big enough for both of us to be in there at the same time, and I also like that there is usually a separate shower stall and tub. After a good, long shower with the dual heads, I always come out feeling very relaxed! The Heavenly Bed is just that - heavenly! It's so luxurious and comfortable. Just sink into it and drift off into a peaceful sleep. With The Galleria a few feet away and Southdale across the street, shopping, going to a restaurant or seeing a movie is easily accessible before retreating back to the comfort of your room. If you have an issue with anything, one phone call to the front desk is all that is needed, and they do the best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
I do realize that this is a higher quality hotel in one of the upper class suburbs of Minneapolis, but I'm not always keen on the price per night, which is usually over $100. Also, I suggest that (if not begun already) this hotel offer FREE internet access instead of having to pay per session. Regardless of this, we will definitely be going there soon again!
