Only 20 minutes from the airport & ice rink (when it's not snowing) and right off the highway. There was a Don Pablo's across parking lot for an easy meal. The beds were the most comfortable we've had in our travels this year. Spacious breakfast area & a nice selection of cold & hot foods. Staff very nice, friendly & helpful. Free internet access in lobby with printing...printed our boarding passes! Nice small seating area w/ fireplace. Also offered room service which was catered outside & delivered. Huge selection of foods to choose from. Overall a great value.

I stayed for two nights and bed bug bites started showing up the day I left when I was traveling home. I did find what seemed to be bed bug remains under the mattresses, but did not see live ones, so I thought I was ok. Before I booked my trip, I called and asked if they ever had bed bugs. They said no. Then after I had bites show up, I called and they admitted to having a bed bug problem 8 months ago and had to kill an infestation. I was furious that they lied to me to get me to book at their location. You are taking your chances if you stay at this location.

Overall this is a very nice place to stay. It is in a great location, just off I-494. Very close to Eden Prairie Center and 9 miles from Mall of America. The excellent service, staff and location made up for any defiencies that were found. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.
We stayed here 3 nights and found the following items to be noteworthy. The bed was uncomfortable and the fitted sheet didn't seem to stay put on the mattress. On two of the mornings the breakfast staff wasn't keeping up with the demand on certain foods and supplies. In the room, the bathroom counter is the length of the bathroom. However, it seemed housekeeping only cleaned the area by the sink.
We were told the hotel will be renovating the entrance and some of the rooms beginning in November 2010.

We were offered shuttle service to an area restaurant and we gladly accepted. The driver told us he would drop us off at 6pm but would have to pick us up at 7pm. He stated that would be enough time to eat, we thought so too. So at 7pm, my colleague and I were out the door as planned. After about 15 min we called and they stated "oh, we don't have shuttle service anymore tonight, you'll have to take a taxi." Being from out-of-town I asked that she please call one for us. She stated"You should see alot of them right out thedoor." That not being the case, she finally agreed to call. Half an hour later a taxi showed up and took us back. Not a good experience. They should not offer a service and then leave their customers high and dry.
