The staff was incredibly friendly. The hotel, very clean. It was cold and the heat worked very quickly and very well. The kitchen was an added bonus so that I could have food there and not have to eat out the whole time I stayed. The water pressure of the shower was great. It was nice to have the option of the high speed internet also. It is also very close to the Twin Cities airport and the awesome Mall of Americas. I highly recommend Extended Stay America, Eagan, Minnesota.

This was a very nice experience. The motel is located close to airport, and mall of america, right off of Interstate 35, yet very very quiet. Lovely grounds, ample parking. The room was clean, big, tables and a good ottoman and chair, and the kitchen just right. Original artwork in the lobby, and a courteous staff. I would go there anytime. The rooms are $89 for a queen studio, I paid $56 from Orbitz.

Despite reading the couple of poor reviews about this hotel, my wife and I decided to stay here while visiting some friends in the Twin Cities. Overall, our experience at the hotel was quite satisfying. The rooms were set up like a small efficiency suites. Our room had a queen bed, coushy armchair, desk with office chair, cable tv, full kitchen, and bathroom w/ tub-shower.

As far as standard amenities go, this is where Extended Stay's lower costs come in. They don't provide contintental breakfast or round the clock staff and you get one day of housekeeping for each week that you stay. Additional housekeeping costs extra, coin-operated laundry machines are available, and wireless internet access costs $5 (I can't remember if it's per week or for the extent of your stay).

So, in closing, short term travelers that are used to being catered to by standard hotels may be disappointed by some of Extended Stay's cost-cutting strategies. However, not-so-short-term travelers should find the chain's apartment-like rooms quite accomadating. We noticed quite a few of the other people staying at our hotel were there for long-term business trips.

For the price I expected a clean room and a good internet connection. The room was not cleaned well. There was food and dirt on surfaces and wall, dishes, the microwave, the coffee maker, the TV remote. The wireless internet connection was slow and it cut out frequently. Not horrible, just sloppy housekeeping, and bad internet.
