These rooms are cheap and large, but still disappointing. Two 2-bedroom floorplans are offered: a loft and 2 bedroom. I needed separate rooms and avoided the loft, but the 2nd bedroom was still a loft open to the living area below.
The furniture and appliances were updated, but the structure is very old and in poor condition. The stairs had water damage to the point of being crowned and warped. The living room is unbelievably cold and drafty in winter. At night, the floor was freezing cold (just in this room) and the room was uninhabitable. We chose this hotel so our 6 month old could sleep in the living room, but that was impossible. I bet this is nice the rest of the year, but unlivable in Winter.
Finally, I do want to complement the staff. They were all excellent throughout the stay. In particular, the two people running the breakfast buffet take pride in their jobs and it shows. The woman running the kitchen kept everything stocked, hot and clean. The gentleman manning the dining room was friendly, attentive and kept it picked up.
