“Adequate - not special, but not bad either”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

I got a room for a decent rate here, but I probably won't return. The location is out of the way and after seeing some of the other clientele, I didn't feel all that safe. The room was clean, but I had to spend a while messing with the TV in order to get the cable to work, plus I had to reattach the cover to the bathroom light when it fell onto me while I was brushing my teeth.

“It's not too bad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011

You get what you pay for. And more...I have see a cockroach so big it needed a leash. I took a picture and showed it to the guy at a front desk but all that he offered me was another room and $20 of my next time stay....
Other than that it wasn't too bad.

“Clean and affordable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2011

We stayed here in May to visit the Mall of America. That night, a tornado hit just north of us. I feel as if the hotel staff should have notified the guests that the risk was there, and what to do if it were to hit our area. We were terrified as we had traveled 10 hours and were not familiar with the area or what to do in case of a tornado. The internet quality was terrible.

Thank you for your review. Our guest services team is trained to handle severe weather emergencies and knows where to direct guests in the event of a tornado warning. Our area does have tornado sirens that would alert the hotel staff and guests of inclement weather. If you are staying with us and are concerned about where to go in the hotel in the event of severe weather, please ask one of our team members.

Regarding the internet quality, the hotel has installed a brand new wireless network as of 2010. Also, the hotel subscribes to a premium cable internet service to ensure that all guests enjoy very fast internet connections. If you are experiencing slow wireless internet speeds, please ensure that you are connecting to the endpoint that is closest to your room, or notify guest services so that we may check to see if there are any network outages with our provider. Once again thank you for your review and we look forward to seeing you again!

I was here for a three days stay, I pay for the room with a little sofa and it worth the price. Overall room was clean and was average comfortable, but for the price I'd stay here again.

“Nice location, nice room, nice and quiet!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2011

I spent part of our Labor day weekend there.

It's a nice, quiet, safe, location tucked away from the urban sprawl and crowds. Now the sprawl is not far away and the area has all you need to shop and get a quick bite to eat.

It's not too far from the city and or Mall of America. But you will need a GPS!
Less than a mile off one of the smaller interstates?

No smells there during labor day weekend. Well kept grounds, rooms (lighting and tv motif a bit 70's), but no worn items in there.

The rooms can be nice quiet and dark for those who wish to sleep in a bit later. They also have those inter connecting doors (or at least we had them).

Gym on our floor (2nd and small), I don't know if each floor is set up that way.
Lobby nice and modern with a good down home feel.
Breakfast continental with a little bit of a maze to navigate.
Free WiFi.

Great stay for us, it's out of the way of crowds, louds and low brows.

I will not hesitate to visit again, whenever the price is right!

Room Tip: You will need a GPS to find near by places and even it gets confused. I used google maps to find wha...

Thank you for the wonderful review. We do have a convenient location about 7 miles from the Mall of America and there are many restaurants in the area. Our breakfast area is limited in regards to space, however we hope to address the layout soon with some light renovation. We’re glad you found our hotel to be a great value. We look forward to seeing you the next time you are visiting the area.

Thank you,
