This inn is a great value. I had a 2-night business stay and will plan to stay again. I liked its unique features -- its location just on the other side of the lift bridge, its design and its impeccable cleanliness. I also appreciated how the bathroom fixtures, carpets and linens all seemed quite new. I walked across the bridge to meet colleagues for dinner in the Canal Park area (where there is a wide range of restauant choices and some lovely shops).
I chose a lower cost room so was not facing the lake, but with the big windows and balcony I still got a feel for the overall setting. Breakfast in lobby had good coffee but mostly just pastries. This is not the place to be if you are looking for a lot of amenities for business travelers such as a workout room, but it is a great value overall.
