My husband and I made a last-minute decision to go out of town for New Year's Eve, and booked this hotel online. We were surprised the room was a decent price given the occasion. The room was overall comfortable and clean, although could use a little bit of an update (bathroom is a bit older looking). I am a poor sleeper so i brought my own pillow from home. The hotel provides a selection of pillows (firm, medium, soft) so I was happy to use theirs and had a good sleep. However when we left the hotel I forgot my own pillow since I had not used it! I wrote them via their website, and not only did they find my pillow but they shipped it back to me for free! What amazing service!!

We have travelled to Duluth often this year since my daughter is attending college in Duluth. Thought we would try the Holiday Inn because it is down town and with the way the weather can turn, we wanted to be able to take the shy walk to get around. It is a decent place to stay, if not the newest. It needs some updating.

I have stayed at this property several times, and it's always a great experience. The staff is friendly, professional, and always seem to go out of their way to make you feel at home and valued. If you are here for a winter visit the location is a big plus! The skywalk system offers a nice warm way around the city, and there are many shops and restaurants right around the Holiday Inn making it an ideal place to stay. The convention center, bank and movie theater are all just a short walk from the lobby.

The property is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced, and the free internet is fast, even when the hotel has a lot of guests. If you are looking for hassle free accommodations in Duluth, this is it!

We stayed here for a few nights when a family member was in the nearby hospital due to an emergency. Turns out it was also a huge convention weekend in Duluth and rooms were scarce. Somehow, Holiday Inn found us adjoining rooms--supposedly the last in the hotel! We were near the pool, which we did not use but looked clean, bright & fun. The rooms were clean and quiet (even near the pool), the parking garage was convenient, the breakfast was just right and the hotel staff was friendly & helpful (and recommended a great late night restaurant.) All in all, just what we weary, worried, family folks needed.
