Average Holiday Inn Express, nothing special. Good breakfast, average room, decent location. I was charged an "Energy Surcharge (TX Inc) $2.00." This was not listed on the reservation, so when I asked the front desk about it, he told me it is just hotel policy. I asked to speak with a manager and was told I could come back or call on Sunday (this was Tuesday morning at checkout). But, the manager was gone until then. Hotels frequently add fees (parking, resort, etc...), but they are disclosed in the reservation. Just adding a fee because you want more money is not acceptable, nor is not having a manager available within a reasonable amount of time. He didn't even offer to have someone call me when they were available.
