We've stayed here many times and have always enjoyed our stay. The hotel serves it's purpose. You are nearby quite a few dining options and they have a nice sized pool. For what we pay, we'll continue to go back.

We stay here every time Rum River BMX has a weekend event. It is always clean and the staff is always helpful. The only improvement would be some sound absorbing material in the breakfast room. Not the hotel's fault that people need to be loud when they eat but it would help. Thanks and we will see you next time we are in town!

I had a terrible experience! After I stayed at this hotel they tried charging me an additional $150 because they found ashes on the window frame and smelled smoke. #1 I DON'T smoke and I'm was offended that they accused me of smoking. The Manager told me House Keeping took pictures of the ashes and basically called me a liar and she told me she won't drop these charges. I about fell off my chair after speaking to her!! She has no customer skills so please be cautious if you stay here. The Manager operates this hotel with bad business practices! Eventually, after speaking to Corporate they agreed to drop the $150 charges. I have never heard of such a crazy thing in my life!!

We recently stayed in the Country Inn on our way to the BWCA. We found the property easy to locate, clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We had planned on staying in Duluth, but did not know about "Grandma's Marathon" and had a hard time finding a hotel. We booked through AAA and received a very good rate - we recommend! Cambridge has a Super Wal-Mart and Target as well as a Perkins for breakfast.
