“Really nice and very clean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

We have stayed at this property twice. We have never been disappointed - and we are VERY picky travelers. The hotel is beautiful and so clean. The staff was very friendly on each of our visits. The restaurant is fabulous as well. Our daughter had surgery that day, so we ordered room service and the food and service were spectacular. I highly recommend the Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn.

“Who Knew?”

I used to live in Burnsville and drove by this hotel a million times.
I moved away from the south suburbs and needed a place to stay for a NYE celebration at Buck Hill. They offered a special rate and shuttle service to and from the party.
I was pleasantly surprised how nice this place is. The staff at the desk were extremely professional and friendly. The room was lovely. A great view. A wonderful bed with soft linens and lots of pillows, a comfy easy chair with ottoman, an executive desk and chair, a huge TV with lots of channels to choose from, an actual closet, and a small pantry with fridge (no freezer), coffee-maker and microwave. Bathroom was smallish, but the towels were top quality and shower was mounted high (I am 5"11). Hair dryer and iron/board are provided in room. Ice and soda machines are on every floor.
I mention all these amenities because the room rate was so reasonable - $112.

Room Tip: High floor, away from elevator, facing the front (south side) - great view.

“Still More to be Done”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2011

Spent 5 nights visiting family in Lakeville - the next suburb over from Burnsville. The new owners of this property have made some improvements but there is still more to be done to make this hotel in the southern suburbs truly a great value . The HVAC system in each room should be checked daily. The first room I was given had one that didn't work properly. The next one did, but the hotel should warm patrons about the "setback" thermostat so that the temperature doesn't change in the middle of the night! An engineer should be hired to redo the levels between the lobby and parts of the hotel. Anyone with balance or perceptual problems can be thrown for a loop by the short stairs or the uneven ramp. The maid should also collect all of the dirty towels - not just 2 of the 4 used ones. Once dusting the top of the microwave cabinet is made a daily task, patrons with allergies will be more comfortable. One of the best things that has been done is the installation of a sturdy safety bar in the shower/bath. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel is also quiet.

“Wedding reception 9/10/11”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

We had our wedding reception at the Nicollett Inn in September of 2011. I worked very closeley with Barb Spencer in Catering and also with Nathan in Sales & Marketing. We had a perfect day, the food was fabulous, the staff was great and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We are going back for New Years Eve with a few other couples and are excited to be there again! I would highly recommend this hotel for any kind of banquet, meeting, wedding reception or just for a night away from home. The food at Morgan's Restaurant is also delicious! Thanks again to Barb & Nathan for their help, they were both awesome to work with!

“Great Value, Comfort and Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

Spent 3 nights in Minneapolis visiting family 10/27 - 10/30. The hotel was just minutes from the airport right off 35E on 42. Mitch at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 2 room suite. It was comfortable for 3 adults and a good place to unwind between activities with our grand daughter. The room had a small fridge, microwave and dining room table with 4 chairs. There was also a comfortable office chair. The hotel was quiet and clean.

There is a pool and fitness center. Both were very nice. We had the free continental breakfast in the restaurant. Never had a problem finding a seat and Jose did a great job keeping up with clearing tables and food stations stocked.

The location worked perfectly for us. Everything we needed was on 42 or on Nicollet Ave including the Burnsville Center/Paragon Movie Theater, a Target and restaurants. 35E and 35W intersect with 42 so you can get pretty much get every place you want by highway. Across the parking lot there is a Taco Bell.

We've decided we'll stay here on future visits to our grand daughter.

Room Tip: Room 415 is on the back side of the hotel, next to the ice machine and close to the elevator but it...
