The worst hotel I've ever stayed in! The rooms had old beat up furniture, the beds were terrible and the toilet wasn't bolted down! We have a small dog and when I would bring him out at night none if the outside doors were locked! No one was at the front desk either! Anyone can walk in the doors at night. The breakfast in the morning was a joke. The had "little debbies" under a plastic cake cover, a loaf of bread, butter with a toaster in a plastic bin you would use for cleaning. Coffee was cold and no one was at the front desk. Save your money and go anywhere else but here! I have photos of the breakfast area if I can figure out how to upload from my phone.

We booked our room almost 3 months in advance but about 3 weeks before our son's wedding we received a phone call saying they didn't have a room for us because they overbooked. She explained that they only had rooms available that had one bed. Then she told us we could have 2 rooms but that we would be charged for BOTH. When we said that wouldn't work because 2 of the people were minors she said we could go to the location in Monticello. We ended up doing just that. The adventure, however, did not end there. After we got home they charged us!! for 2 rooms!!! THEY CANCELLED our reservation then had the audacity to not only charge us for 2 rooms but for a price almost $30 more than we were supposed to have paid if they hadn't cancelled. DO NOT DO IT!!! You WILL be SORRY!!!!!!!

The Super 8 Hotel in Buffalo, Minnesota is dirty, and poorly run. I returned to the hotel around 11:00p.m. after visiting a firend in the area, and the main door was wide open (no security here) and there was no one at the front desk. In the morning when I left, there was no one at the desk again. The room smelled, the carpet in the halls was very dirty, there were openings in the hall ceilings where something used to be. This is one dump.
