We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in early January. It is a nice, quiet hotel in the NW suburbs of Minneapolis but convenient to I-694 and I-94. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the room overall was clean.

One minor issue: there had been an freezing ice/sleet storm early that evening and the parking lot was very precarious. This perhaps needs to be monitored more closely to avoid having any one fall in the parking lot, etc.

Loved that they provided free local newspapers in the morning and the breakfast had a nice selection, although I wish there had been a few more hot items available.

Would stay again. : )

This was my first stay at a La Quinta and was very satisfied. I was looking for something on the West side of the "cities" and this place with it's close access to I694 worked out well. The staff was very friendly and the hotel very clean and comfortable. Again those reading my reviews know I look for maximum value for the dollar. I rarely look at a hotel as a destination point but rather as a place to relax and get some sleep after a day of whatever in the city I am staying. I was able to book a room for my wife and I, and another for my daughter for the price of one room alone closer to downtown. Very quiet, great choice for breakfast, and close enough to eating and dining and the main part of Minneapolis to rate as an excellent choice. Will stay there again.

We are in the Twin Cities at least a couple of times a year - spring and fall for a mix of business and visiting friends. The LaQuinta is an excellent value compared to other hotels in the area. It is convenient to I-694 and close to good shopping and a great selection of restaurants in Maple Grove.

The staff is great - very accommodating and friendly Check-in was fast and easy. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable. Being able to open the windows to enjoy fresh air is a big plus for us. Although the hotel is close to the freeway the rooms are quiet. The complimentary high-speed wireless internet, in-room fridge and microwave are all great features.

The breakfast has a good selection of breakfast items including cereals, hard-cooked eggs, waffles, juices, tea, coffe and hot chocolate.

We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the past few years and have never been disappointed.

My husband and I went to the cities for the weekend, and met 16 friends there for Octoberfest. We always stay a this hotel, so our friends also decided to get rooms and they were impressed with the friendly staff, clean rooms, and wonderful breakfast. The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, and the staff is exeptionally friendly and helpful and at a great price! Its a great location and easy to get to main interstates. It can be a bit noisy at night with children using the pool and slamming room doors, but that is not the fault of the hotel. If you don't have children, ask to stay on 3rd floor. We will always stay there when in the cities.
