I recently stayed here for three nights - was placed in a non smoking room at my request - but it smelled of smoke - I lived with it, and had them change the bed spread the next morning which they did - the front desk people in the day time were nice and polite - but the evening staff seemed uninterested in helping or serving - Otherwise the room was okay and the m aid staff was competent and nice. The pool area is suppose to close at 11 p.m. each night, but no one really monitors that so there is a lot of noise and foot traffic late in the evening in the hallways - the workout center is on the second floor and very limited in machines - seems like it should be near the pool.

The biggest complaint was the breakfast area - most of the plates and dishes still had caked on food on them each day so finding a clean plate for toast or a clean bowl for cereal was tough - I watched the staff lady who was overseeing the breakfast area empty the trash and pick up debris and then when I requested spoons for the cereai, I watched her take the spoons out touching everyone of them on the part that you eat with - it was then that I dumped my cereal in the trash and went across the street to Panera Bread for Breakfast - the whole breakfast area was dirty and unclean -

I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels, and I am telling you the truth, this breakfast area looked bad - and I began to wonder if there are any food preparation standards for hotels like there are for restaurants - the coffee was instant and poured into the coffee machines - it looked like dirty water instead of coffee - because of this I would not stay at this hotel again - although I hear that they have new owners who are only two weeks into this, and if they make some changes in the breakfast area, I might return -
