This was my 3rd hotel of the week.
First off, this hotel is hard to get to and get into. Parking is a pain in the rear end, and it requires a bit of a hike to get to the elevators. Found the guys hanging by the door from the parking ramp at night to be a little creepy. (I'm not a small guy either). Nonetheless, parking is free. Be sure to park AT THE VERY TOP OF THE PARKING RAMP -- I mean all the way to the top.
My room had a vintage feel. Not a hip ironic vintage feel. I mean a "god when did they last redo these rooms" vintage feel. There was a completely weird 1971 era mirror hanging on the wall. Seriously, you need to it. However, the room was clean and pleasant and functional. Although the hotel uses Ethostream, which I don't particularly care for, it worked well at this hotel.
What makes this place a gem for me is the fitness center. I stay in a lot of mid-tier road warrior hotels. I've never seen anything like this. State of the art treadmills & elipticals. Plus a 10 machine (or so) weight training circuit. And a nice selection of dumbells. It was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise.
I'll stay here again.
