So...I don't know where to start. I checked in and they said I need to pay an additional $10 for two beds rather than the king bed suite w/ sofa. I brought my kiddos with and thought the sofa would be a pull out. My mistake. Nonetheless, I got this room off of priceline for $55 and wished I would have paid rack rates at the Hilton across the street. This is NOT a 3+ hotel. It has spot upgrades and is in bad shape. There are stains everywhere as well as mold on the ceiling and bathroom (room 218). We asked to be moved but were told that there were no more two bed rooms left. (unlikely as the parking lot was fairly empty) The remote was missing and we called the front desk and asked to have one brought to us. We tried to turn the TV with the remove that was delivered but only the sound would come on. When my husband called down to the front desk (again), they said to wiggle the chord on the back of the TV. HAA HAAA....
My husband and I went to the bar for a cocktail and the staff at the bar were far more accomodating then any other staff encountered.
The pool was small as others had noted but was fun for the kids. It was clean and well maintained.
It is about 6 miles from the mall of america and about 10 from the airport. We had a rental car, so we were not put off by this as others were.
All in all...we paid for what we got. It is worth $55/night and not a penny more. We wished we had not pricelined this hotel. Our bad.
