I have stayed at this Embassy Suites several times, and it has become my hotel of choice when I visit the Twin Cities area on business. If you have stayed in an Embassy Suites before, you pretty much know what to expect. The suite was nice and roomy. As a business traveler, I don't necessarily need all of that extra space, but I appreciate having separate rooms for working and sleeping. I can leave my computer turned on and just close the bedroom door when I'm ready to call it a night.
Everything was very clean as one would expect in a Hilton property, and the bed was quite comfortable. As with all Embassy Suites, breakfast is complientary and it includes a cooked-to-order omelette ina ddition to the typical buffet items. One minor criticism is I though the breakfast buffet was a bit limited. There wasn't much available in terms of fresh fruit and only a couple different kinds of pastries available, and not much else. It certainly wasn't bad but it wasn't spectacular either (I've had a little better in some other Embassy Suites properties). I also recognize that it was the middle of January, and fresh fruit options may be a bit limited in that part of the country this time of year. There is a nice steakhouse restaurant in the atrium area which I would recommend. The Mall of America is just a short distance away, and the hotel has a complimentary shuttle to and from.
Overall I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel and will probably stay there again during my next visit to MSP.
