“Excellent hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2009

Stayed here on a Saturday night & couldn't have been happier. Our room was on the "train side" and we had no problem with the train noise - did not even notice it but we both wear ear plugs when we sleep. Staff was extremely accomodating and very nice. Pet friendly hotel without an outrageous fee and great area to walk our dog. Very clean, comfy beds, safe neighborhood. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

“Super Staff !!”

Give Jason their front desk person an attaboy, my car battery died while and I was running late for an important meeting, Jason helped me by personally using his own car and me jumped my car so I was able to make the meeting on time. It was 10 below but he never once complained, he just wanted to be sure everything was ok during my stay. Great employee. Nice motel.

“Trains Trains Trains”

Very nice hotel. Rooms were large. Clean. Only problem is do not get an odd numbered room as it will be facing the train tracks. When I stayed there a train came thru about every 90 minutes. There is a rail crossing across the road from the hotel and the trains were blowing their horns every time they approached the crossing. Very loud!!

Thank you for your review. I just wanted to give you an update on the trains- The hotel is now in a "quiet zone" for the trains. The trains do not sound their horns anymore at the intersection by the hotel. We are very excited about this. The odd numbered rooms are so much quieter now.

“Nice New Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 May 2006

I stayed at my local hotel the day that I was moving into my new house, and then it was at least 6 months old. I walked in and was very surprised how nice it was. Our room was average sized and very clean. The pool was nice but sort of small, but it also has and arcade, which is nice. Also, the continental breakfast was the largest I have ever seen. There were many things to choose from. The front desk was also very nice and helpfull.

“Never again will I Sleep Inn Becker”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 March 2006

We recently (March 17-19) booked 12 rooms at the Becker Sleep Inn. This is the place to stay if you want to be monitored 24/7. We had 7th grade Boys entered in a basketball tournament there. After the tournament games, the parents wanted to socialize in the "hospitality" lounge which we verified on booking we could do. Friday night at 10:00 the room was closed for Saturday mornings breakfast. After reminding the "hosts" that they said we could use it, "security" was in there monitoring us the entire night. I understand that we are not the only ones at the hotel, and if we got too loud, all that would have been needed was subtle reminder... not baby sat. "Security" also took it on his own to discipline 7-9 years olds rather than coming to their parents. I will also mention the pool and whirl pool closed frequently so "chemicals" could be monitored. Extremely frustrated customer and will probably boycott in the future all Sleep Inn's, Comfort Inn's, etc due to this bad experience.

The hotel itself was nice enough for what we were after, but it is not a place to have a good time with friends.
