Had to stay here for a government project (no choice in the matter, and I was trying to be a team player). It would have been my last choice, given that the street it's on has so many other, better options, some of which were the SAME price! This is a bear-bones motel with no amenities; old, tired, and not that clean.
Small fridge in the room was nice.
The Good:
This is a tough one. I liked that it had a big window that opened, so I could get some fresh air, and get rid of the over-deodorized, nauseating scent in my room.
In spite if its downfalls, the room was relatively clean (hard not to notice when you're moving furniture to find an outlet for your laptop).
The bed and pillows were not uncomfortable.
The Bad:
Where to begin. The room smelled like something had died in it, and then they sprayed a nauseating, flowery odor to cover it up.
The sink and tub backed up every time you turned on the water. Disgusting to be standing in the shower with my feet in backed up water.
The towels were ripped and felt like sand paper.
Gross recliner in the corner that I covered with a towel.
Smoking was not allowed in the hotel, but the ashtrays were inches from the entrances, so the smoke wafted down the hallways and into my room.
Lots of journeyman and construction trucks and workers stay here - did not feel safe as a female traveler.
The lobby offered free breakfast every day, but I never went - I was too grossed out; I hit up the Starbucks down the street every day instead.
Again, so many more options, why bother staying here unless you have no choice.
