This hotel was average-their rooms were older, but clean. One thing I must comment on- the pool was warm! My mom will not even think about going swimming, but their pool was actually warm, we could walk right in without shivering, so she went swimming at a hotel for the first time in years. The hot tub was not hot enough (a hot tub should be hot!, it was just warm), and the sauna was not working while we were there. The location is great, as it seemed we were right in the center of lots of shopping, restaurants, ect. It was centrally located. One gal at the front desk didn't seem very knowledgeable about the area- we asked her about a restaurant that was a few blocks away (Prairie Bay) and she had never heard of it.

“OK LODGING”
This hotel has a very good loction for Baxter,MN. Shopping and eating and mini golf and other activities are all close by.
The room was a nice size. The bed was a good bed but only a queen. Kings are much better.
The breakfast items are very good and standard but the eating area needs to be improved a lot. The area is way to small and there is room to expand if only they get rid of some couchs that nobody wants to sit on.
Nice place but not a good place to get ones day off to a good start.

Pro's - swimming pool, nice breakfast w/waffles, employees are friendly and helpful, room was clean, good location
Con's - beds are old as in sagging in the middle, hot tub & sauna were luke warm, our room was on the second floor above the front desk & lobby so noisy after 10pm
