we recently spent two delightful nights at the lovely Queen's Residence B&B. It is conveniently located and easily accessible. Our room was extremely comfortable and cozy. Breakfasts were scrumptious. Hosts Marla and Joe were very helpful and willing to offer advice on restaurants, places of interest. We look forward to enjoying their hospitality again in the future.

Joe and Marla Queen are the perfect inn keepers. We had a wonderful breakfast and great conversation. The B&B is on a major road, so there is some traffic noise, but other than that the rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. Each room has a private bath and the interior of the house is quiet. We really appreciated the complimentary beverages and cookies available during the day. It was great to grab a cold bottle of water from the fridge on the way out to explore the area. Check them out if you are looking for a cozy place to stay in the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area.

My son and I drove to Ypsilanti from Colorado for his school year at EMU. I was booked for two nights at the Queen's Residence in the Newton Suite. My son ended up staying both nights as his apartment wasn't ready to move into, and we had a wonderful time there. Marla and Joe are fantastic people. We enjoyed learning about the house, and the Tavern, having warm cookies when we came in, and just talking. My son invited his two roommates over and they played a board game in the Gentleman's Parlor, which was perfect. The meals were out of this world, and I think I may have gained a little weight with it all- What a great chef you are Marla! The room was comfortable and very clean. The antiques around the house could keep one busy for a long time just seeing them all. No detail is missed at this one. I will definitely come back and this will be my first thought for lodging in Ypsi next time!

Marla and Joe were exceptionally welcoming and hospitable and I only wish that we had more excuses to stay the night one town over from our own home! The historic decor is beautifully matched with the lovely building, the rooms are both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, and breakfast was AMAZING. What a deal... I don't think I'll ever go back to hotels again!
