I am not sure why the other reviewer had such a bad experience.

We stayed here when we came for the Tulip Time 2011. This was the only hotel available so we had no other option. We came anticipating a bad experience reading the other review.

The property is old but clean. The lobby is small and probably the smallest of all the Super 8's I have seen. The man behind the counter is helpful and efficient.

the property does not have an elevator. So he was assigning lower level rooms to older system and he gave us a room on the 3rd floor.

The room was very clean. Bathroom is very clean. Carpet is clean, bed is clean, sheets are clean. Mindful of the other review, I immediately removed the sheets and looked for any stains etc. None. Very clean. Towels, clean.

There is also a mini fridge, microwave, safe.

Window channels have some dirt, hangers show age and so does the AC, TV.

I am sure the breakfast will be basic, but who cares. Probably just cereal, coffee and pastries and toast.

Bed is comfortable.

What else can one expect from Super 8?

When we first arrived and saw our room, my husband did not want to stay at this motel. The room had a strange odor, there was paint/"popcorn" peeling from the ceiling in the bathroom, the bed spread had black mildew-looking stains, we could hear every noise from the hallway & other guests' rooms, and the lock on the exterior door of the hotel did not work, allowing access to anybody off of the street. I suppose my expectations were a bit too high for the cheap price ($42/night). After spraying everything in the room with Lysol and kicking off the bed spread, we toughed it out for the duration of our stay. The location is convenient if you're looking to stay in Wyoming, the front desk staff was friendly, and the price is certainly right, but we won't be staying there again.
